Special Missions Events
Assembly 2011 features wonderful opportunities to learn how God's Kingdom is being enlarged throughout the world!
• Don't miss the beautiful displays in the auditorium foyer, featuring the work of Virginia Mennonite Missions.
• Testimonies of mission workers will be shared throughout the weekend.
• Bring your family or Sunday school class for the international activities on the lawn: play an Italian game, make a Caribbean craft, watch (and join in!) international dances, listen to foot-tapping music while sipping cool lemonade.
• At dinner Saturday night, VMM mission workers present at Assembly and their Missionary Support Teams will be our special guests.
• Saturday evening worship will feature special music and testimonies from overseas workers, a message by Giovanni Greco, Italian pastor (translated by Willard Eberly), and a commissioning for the 2011 class of tranSenders and new and returning VMM workers.
• Come to the Taste of Missions to visit with missionaries, taste international foods, and enjoy more special music.
